Microbial safety training for fresh produce

In the UK, there is a gap in certified training materials for primary produce growers, both those growing fresh produce in fields and those growing food in vertical farms. More training could help reduce microbial risks during produce production

This UK Food Safety Research Network funded project led by the Fresh Produce Consortium is developing certified training materials targeting front-line employees and seasonal workers to technical managers to other leaders in produce operations.
