UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) have published a new Food Deep Dive which investigates UKRI’s role in supporting the UK Food System through world-class research, innovation and training.
The Deep Dive identifies food safety as an opportunity for research.
The report identifies the opportunity for, “ensuring UK strengths in bioscience have a positive impact on nutrition and global food quality, safety, and security”.
At the UK Food Safety Research network we are working to ensure that bioscience has an impact on food quality and safety by bringing academia, industry and policymakers together.
