BBSRC is reviewing and refreshing its Forward Look for UK Bioscience. We are seeking stakeholder views to ensure that our vision and strategy for supporting and enabling bioscience reflect your priorities and values.
In 2018, BBSRC published its first ‘Forward Look for UK Bioscience’. This document outlines a direction of travel for UK bioscience over a 5 to 10-year period. It also identifies where UK bioscience can address some of the greatest challenges of the 21st century. The Forward Look has served as a strategic framework for BBSRC, guiding our actions and investments.
In the six years since the first Forward Look was published, UKRI has launched and there have been wide-ranging scientific and technological advances along with political and socioeconomic changes that impact how we support, deliver, and translate bioscience research.
BBSRC want to ensure that the Forward Look evolves to enable bioscience to flourish and achieve its potential wide ranging impacts.
BBSRC would be very grateful if you could take the time to answer a short survey and share with us your thoughts on what’s changing in bioscience and how BBSRC can continue to support world leading bioscience research and innovation. Your views will build on existing intelligence drawn from stakeholder engagement and help us shape our future direction.
