AMAST College of ECRs and ECPs Opportunity

Our partner network, the AntiMicrobial Resistance in Agrifood Systems Transdisciplinary (AMAST) Network has an exciting opportunity.

Applications are open for the AMAST College of Early Career Researchers and Professionals – a unique transdisciplinary training programme bringing together the next generation of leaders in antimicrobial stewardship and sustainable agriculture.

This residential course will teach participants how to integrate perspectives from human, animal, plant, soil and environmental health into collaborative solutions, combining One Health and systems thinking methods with practical facilitation training, scenario development, and project planning.

Who should apply?
✅ PhD students and postdocs
✅ Professionals with 3+ years in agri-food (farm management, veterinary practice, food safety, production, retail, animal welfare, agriculture extension, R&D)
✅ Policy and implementation specialists
✅ Science communication professionals

We will particularly welcome applications from non-academic professionals to ensure diverse perspectives and transdisciplinary exchange.

What’s included: Expert speakers and panel discussions, hands-on workshops, networking opportunities, travel support (depending on need), certificate of completion

By the end, you’ll have built new networks, co-designed potential projects, and identified pathways for action within the AMAST network and beyond.
